The cost is $6.00 per vehicle with 2-8 people per vehicle; $2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists, or extra passengers in a car; and, $4.00 for a single person in a car.
There is a path to the south of the entrance that many pedestrians use to get to the beach without paying.
The activities on this premier beach are:
- the Beautiful one mile long Beach although you can walk all the way to Vanderbilt Beach which is close to a 2.5 mile walk;
- a Boat Ramp with the docks being ADA accessible;
- Boating from the Cocahatchee River to enjoy the back bays in and around Estero Bay;
- Fishing all around the park is allowed although it is prohibited in the swimming areas on the beach;
- Picnic Pavilion that has electric fans for a fee and can be reserved for large groups up to 100 guests and has 10 picnic tables;
- Restroom facilities with fresh water showers
- Scuba Diving and snorkeling along the hard bottom reef which runs along the beach;
- Guided Tours and changing Exhibits in the Park.
