Many locals use this beach as it’s in a residential neighborhood of Old Town Naples. So, although it’s busy, there are around 120 parking spaces in the parking lot.

There is only a short walk to the actual beach from the parking lot which is nice if you have lots of beach toys, umbrellas, and coolers to lug to the beach.

Lowdermilk Beach Park Amenities and Concession Stand

Lowdermilk Beach Park has plenty of amenities and activities to make your beach experience enjoyable. The park itself is very large, with plenty of space to relax and soak in the sun. There are sand volleyball courts, a playground for children, gazebos, a duck pond and several picnic tables under palm trees which offers a nice shady spot where you can have lunch or enjoy a snack from the concession stand. The concession stand, with a view of the Gulf, offers a variety of food such as salads, hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chips, fries, coffee and ice cream. Either way, you will enjoy your outdoor eating. Additionally, you will discover restaurants across the street from Lowdermilk Park.

In addition to the concession stand, there are restrooms on site and trash cans throughout the park so you can keep it clean for everyone’s enjoyment. Restrooms are easily obtainable as are outdoor showers to remove the sand. You’ll also find that Lowdermilk Park has wheelchair access ramps near the sand so everyone can enjoy the beach. At the concession stand, you’ll also find beach wheel chairs equipped with special tires and a variety of other items available for rent.

Lowdermilk Beach is also a great spot to take a stroll, collect seashells or just relax in the sun. The beach is well-maintained with plenty of room on the 1,000 feet of beachfront to spread out and enjoy the day. Take a dip in the Gulf, build sand castles, or just soak up the scenery. And don’t forget that it affords a great vantage point for that beautiful sunset on the Gulf of Mexico. This beach has it all!

Lowdermilk Beach Permits and Parking

To park at Lowdermilk Beach, you must have a Naples resident beach parking permit or for non-residents, parking meters are available. The cost for the pay-by-space metered parking is $4.00/hour and the machines accept cash and credit cards.  Handicapped parking spots are available.
