Vanderbilt Beach Florida is a great choice for your Naples Florida vacation.
There are many reasons but here are our 5 Top Reasons. By the way, Kathy’s Mother chose to buy a condo on Vanderbilt Beach over 20 years ago and hasn’t regretted it one bit.
The photo of the pool and beach is taken from her veranda. Kathy is counting the days when she can go and visit her once again.
The 5 Top Reasons to choose Vanderbilt Beach for your Naples Florida vacation are:
- #1. The Beach is close to 3 miles long and is great for walking. It begins at Delnor Wiggins State Park Beach all the way south to the public Vanderbilt Beach access on the southern end. You can walk even further for another mile or so past the beautiful condos of the exclusive Pelican Bay beach community. It’s quite a long hike…but both the Vanderbilt Beach and Delnor Wiggins State Park Beaches have public restrooms.
- #2. On the west is the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and to the east are wonderful canals that can take you out to the Gulf or you can travel all the way north to Estero Bay. If you love boating, kayaking or fishing Vanderbilt Beach provides access to these wonderful activities. If you stay on the canal side don’t worry about getting to the beach for there are many easy public walkways.
- #3. It’s quiet and exclusive due to not having national chain hotels. There are only two luxurious resorts on Vanderbilt Beach Florida with just a few smaller hotels. If you want to stay longer than two weeks most Vanderbilt condos allow rentals.
- #4. It’s a perfect location being only 3-4 miles to downtown Naples, Florida for shopping and sightseeing, as well as, a short trip north to Bonita Beach and Fort Myers.
- #5. There is tremendous shopping at Mercato Mall, wonderful nearby restaurants, the Philharmonic is in Pelican Bay community, a beautiful public library and a park with tennis courts galore!
Insider Tip: If you are interested in seeing for yourself the beauty of this location take a day to enjoy lunch at the Turtle Club outdoor veranda. You’ll be back, we are sure!
